What can a health coach do for you?



Health coaching takes a holistic approach to health and wellness. You often see the terms health coach and wellness coach used interchangeably, and so they can be if the practitioner uses a holistic approach that looks not only at managing diet, weight and physical fitness but also the underlying or root causes that may be preventing you from achieving your health goals - areas such as motivation, stress, habits, emotions, mindfulness and spiritual needs and fulfilment. A good health (or wellness) coach can help you work through these issues to formulate your objectives for living a healthy life and plan a path towards success.


My own training was with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and this holistic approach is very much a part of their training and my practice. My discussions with clients frequently go to surprising places but are almost always enjoyable and lead to productive and practical ideas that help them lead healthier lives and attain their goals. The path to success is always individual!
